Service was slow, not the staffs fault but once we actually did order it was quick enough! There's not many veggie options and they didn't have some stuff available. They didn't read back my order so think they charged us extra for some stuff (also don't get an itemised receipt so can't prove it, not ideal) and £1.50 for a pot of sauce is a bit of a rip off tbh It's a shame because the boileroom used to do amazing food, the noodles were to die for but the current kitchen menu is a bit meh. Kirsty MarieNEVER AGAIN, IF YOU HAVE DIETARY REQUIREMENTS DONT BOTHER!! Never Having spoken to the owner of the Funky Pickle truck BOB, to advise and inform i had been unwell since eating and I had clearly had a gluten reaction. I was greated with nothing but disregard and arrogance. He advised it was my own fault and made comment as if I was making things up and was like others 'complaining for something free'. Said it wasn't his problem or fault and unsure how it could of happened.. Cross-contaimination was mentioned but was disregarded.. Pushing the blame back onto myslef. He then commented reguards 'refunds' Telling me I was wrong and out of order for wanting such thing!! Then continued to blame me for things advising 'your the final straw' to this and saying he will no longer cater for allergy requirements. Then proceed to say I should not bother with festivals or this festival. The lack of compassion, understanding and customer care is something that I am frankly astounded by! The complete arrogance and disregard is definitely not something as a paying consumer you come to expect or accept. Not something anyone wants, after all all I wanted to do was go and have a civil conversion and advise I had been unwell. DON NOT BOTHER OR WAIST YOUR MONEY £22 FOR CHIPS!! TO THEN BE GREATED BY PURE DISREGARD AND ARROGANCE!!! NOT ALLERGEN OR.GLUTEN/COELIAC FRIENDLY, DESPITE THEM ADVISING SO.Posted on Google
Joe KeeneThey call it deep dish but it's not. It's not a Chicago style deep dish but that's OK! It's the same thicker crust you get in the states. Midwest style. Thicker crust which is awesome. Don't feel like I'm eating a dorito with some sauce and barely any cheese which seems to be the norm in Europe. Don't get extra cheese! Plenty on it, unless you don't want to poop for a week. Toppings are good. Wish they had Italian sausage but I'm really not complaining. This is good pizza. Only place I'll order from. If you like sauce on a chip than you've never had good pizza.
